What is the difference between CS0-003 and CS0-004?
CS0-003 is CySA+ V3, the version this voucher covers. CS0-004 is CySA+ V4, which CompTIA launched on 23 June 2026. They are separate exams and this voucher works for CS0-003 only.
How long is the CySA+ exam?
CS0-003 runs for 165 minutes with a maximum of 85 questions — longer than most CompTIA exams, which are typically 90 minutes.
Should I take Security+ or CySA+?
CompTIA recommends Security+ or equivalent knowledge plus a minimum of four years as an incident response or SOC analyst before CySA+. Security+ is the broader, earlier certification. This voucher covers CySA+ (CS0-003) only.
