What an exam voucher is and how it works
An exam voucher is a prepaid code that covers the cost of one certification exam. You buy the voucher here, and you redeem it on the certification provider’s own booking system when you schedule your exam.
What you receive
- A single-use voucher code, delivered by email, valid for one specific exam.
- Step-by-step instructions for redeeming it.
How to redeem your voucher
- Step 1Buy
Choose the voucher for your exam and complete checkout.
- Step 2Receive
Your voucher code is sent to you by email.
- Step 3Redeem
Enter the code on the provider’s certification portal when you book your exam.
Redemption happens on the certification provider’s own site, not on EvolveSkill: the AWS Certification portal for AWS exams, the Microsoft Certification portal for Microsoft exams, and Pearson VUE for CompTIA, Google Cloud and Fortinet exams.
Booking online or at a test centre
Every voucher in our catalogue works for either route — an online-proctored exam, or one taken at a Pearson VUE test centre. You choose when you book.
Before you buy: validity, region and refunds
Expiry and validity
Every voucher carries a fixed expiry date that cannot be extended, and the exact date varies by batch. Check the expiry shown on the voucher’s product page before you buy, and schedule your exam before that date.
Where your voucher can be used
Microsoft vouchers are region-specific. They are valid only for the country or region you select at checkout, and your exam must be scheduled in that same region. Select your region carefully before completing your purchase.
AWS, CompTIA, Google Cloud and Fortinet vouchers can be used in any country, for an online-proctored exam or at a test centre.
Refunds and single-use terms
Each voucher is valid for a single exam attempt. If you need to retake the exam, you will need a new voucher.
Once a voucher has been issued it cannot be returned or refunded. Full terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Compare voucher prices by provider
All prices are in US dollars and cover a single exam attempt.

Exam voucher questions, answered
What is a certification exam voucher?
A prepaid code that covers the cost of one certification exam. You buy the voucher, receive the code by email, then enter it on the certification provider’s booking portal when you schedule your exam.
Do exam vouchers expire?
Yes. Every voucher has a fixed expiry date that cannot be extended, and the exact date varies by batch. Check the expiry shown on the voucher’s product page before you buy, and schedule your exam before that date.
Can I use my voucher in any country?
It depends on the provider. AWS, CompTIA, Google Cloud and Fortinet vouchers can be used in any country, for online-proctored exams or at a test centre. Microsoft vouchers are different: they are valid only for the country or region you select at checkout, and your exam must be scheduled in that same region.
Are exam vouchers refundable?
No. Once a voucher has been issued it cannot be returned or refunded. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full terms.
Can one voucher cover more than one attempt?
No. Each voucher is valid for a single exam attempt. If you need to retake the exam, you will need a new voucher.
How do I redeem my voucher?
Redeem it on the certification provider’s own portal, not on EvolveSkill. Enter your code when you book: the AWS Certification portal for AWS, the Microsoft Certification portal for Microsoft, and Pearson VUE for CompTIA, Google Cloud and Fortinet exams.
Can I take the exam online, or do I need to go to a test centre?
Both are available. Every voucher works for an online-proctored exam or for one taken at a Pearson VUE test centre.
Which certifications can I buy vouchers for?
